Bible Study uses a small amount of browser storage to keep the service working. We do not set advertising cookies.

Sign-in cookie

When you sign in, the site sets an essential first-party cookie named bible_session. It is HttpOnly and Secure on HTTPS, and uses SameSite protection. Choose “Keep me signed in” for a 30-day session. Signing out clears the cookie. If you do not choose that option, the session lasts for up to 24 hours or until you close the browser.

Browser storage

Study drafts, bookmarks, highlights, sticky notes, reading preferences and a reconnect token for an active meeting may be stored in local or session storage on your device. These are not advertising cookies. Clearing your browser storage removes locally saved items and may end a meeting session.

Third-party services

Cloudflare may use necessary technical storage to deliver or secure the site. Opening embedded video may let YouTube use its own storage and collect information under its privacy terms. Your browser settings can block third-party storage, though some embeds may then work differently.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you clear the sign-in cookie, you will need to sign in again. For questions, email privacy@biblestudygroup.co.
